Lisbon Community School District Sports Complex & Facility Upgrades
Enhanced athletics with new fields and facilities.
Axiom Consultants provided comprehensive civil/site design and survey services for the Lisbon Community School District in Lisbon, Iowa. Working in collaboration with Emergent Architecture and Ritland + Kuiper Landscape Architects, the project featured significant upgrades including a new 8-lane track and football field, school addition, bleacher replacement, new concessions facilities, expanded parking, and improved landscaping. These enhancements were aimed at modernizing the district’s athletic infrastructure, improving accessibility, and better serving both students and the broader community.
The project demanded thoughtful integration of new elements within the existing campus, requiring precise engineering to ensure ADA compliance, efficient traffic flow, and long-term site sustainability. Axiom’s strategic site planning, grading, and utility coordination played a key role in delivering a safe, functional, and visually cohesive sports complex. The result is a revitalized school environment that supports student athlete development and fosters greater community engagement.
