Williamsburg Community School District Infrastructure Improvements
26-project master plan to modernize campus infrastructure, delivering full engineering services for new athletic facilities, LED upgrades, and ADA-compliant enhancements that elevate safety, accessibility, and the student experience.
Axiom Consultants partnered with Williamsburg Community School District on a district-wide master planning effort to modernize outdated infrastructure across multiple campuses. Spanning 26 individual projects, the initiative included upgrades to gymnasiums, athletic fields, LED lighting systems, and school facilities. Key components included the design and engineering of a new artificial turf football field, 8-lane track, stadium enhancements, and expanded parking—all aimed at improving functionality, safety, and the student and spectator experience.
To meet the district’s growing needs, Axiom delivered full engineering services including civil, structural, electrical,
and site design. New stadium amenities featured advanced LED lighting, a videoboard, scoreboard, play clocks, and integrated ticket and storage facilities. ADA compliant access was achieved through a landscaped spectator area framed with cast-in-place PCC walls, blending accessibility with aesthetic appeal. The result is a revitalized, high-performance campus environment that supports both athletic excellence and community engagement.
